The DIMS Kiosk Manager Module was developed to allow specific units within a Department to utilize DIMS Acquire Stations for multiple software tasks, such as an onscreen interchange and exchange of data between DIMS software and LIMS, Property and Evidence, or CAD/RMS applications. DIMS was designed to be integrated with other applications in a Department to reduce duplication of data entry and provide an easy to use interface to share and view data/evidence using single login for security. One application of the module would be in the Identification Section (latent fingerprints) to select, view, enhance, and process images with DIMS, DIMS CrimeLab, or Photoshop then to exchange data with AFIS or LIMS, on one system.
